BBQs, Firepits and other Gas Features

BBQs, firepits and other gas features can add tremendous visual impact to your island paradise vacation rental but if not managed properly can cause your profits to go up in flames.  If you have a large propane tank on your property, chances are we can add a wireless monitoring device to it to keep an accurate history of your daily usage.  Not only does this help you identify when excessive use is happening but it also ensures you will always get fill-ups from your supplier before you run out and they won't waste a trip out when you don't happen to need a fill.  

And naturally once this data is available, we can make it available to you, your property manager or whoever you like.   If you choose to have gas overage charges for guests that consume excessive amounts, you will have all the consumption data necessary to accurately bill them.

This is not the question most vacation rental owners want to hear their guests asking themselves.  With outdoor living the way to go in Hawai'i that outdoor kitchen area gets a lot of use and it's easy for your guests to forget the BBQ or fire pit was on when they decided to head to the beach that afternoon. 

The least that can happen is that a lot of propane gets burned and you get a big bill a month or two later.  But your BBQ and other gas devices might get damaged from running for hours or create a fire danger for your home or the surrounding area.
